Νικόλας Φαραντούρης: Και επίσημα στο ΠΑΣΟΚ ο ευρωβουλευτής

Θέμα χρόνου και η η προσχώρησή του στην ομάδα των Ευρωπαίων Σοσιαλιστών

Ο Νικόλας Φαραντούρης επισημοποίησε την ένταξή του στο ΠΑΣΟΚ, μετά τη συνάντηση που είχε το απόγευμα της Πέμπτης (30.04.2026) με τον Νίκο Ανδρουλάκη στα γραφεία του προέδρου του κόμματος στη Βουλή. Ο ευρωβουλευτής είχε γνωστοποιήσει την παραίτησή του από την ευρωομάδα της Αριστεράς (The Left) και αναμένεται η προσχώρησή του στην ομάδα των Ευρωπαίων Σοσιαλιστών ως ευρωβουλευτής του ΠΑΣΟΚ.

«Καλωσορίζω τον Ευρωβουλευτή και Καθηγητή Ευρωπαϊκού Δικαίου, Νικόλα Φαραντούρη στο ΠΑΣΟΚ, τη Δημοκρατική Παράταξη, αλλά και στην ευρω-ομάδα των Σοσιαλιστών και Δημοκρατών του Ευρωπαϊκού Κοινοβουλίου» δήλωσε ο Νίκος Ανδρουλάκης και πρόσθεσε: «Ο Νικόλας έχει επάρκεια στα θέματα που αφορούν τις διεθνείς εξελίξεις, τα ενεργειακά αλλά και θέματα δικαιοσύνης και κράτους δικαίου. Είμαι σίγουρος ότι με τις γνώσεις του αλλά και με τον ιδιαίτερα μαχητικό του χαρακτήρα θα προσφέρει πολλά στον αγώνα μας για την πολιτική αλλαγή.

Διότι εν τέλει αυτός είναι ο μεγάλος στόχος: να ηττηθεί η Νέα Δημοκρατία, να έχουμε πολιτική αλλαγή και μια νέα σελίδα για τον τόπο. Με σεβασμό στους θεσμούς, με δίκαιη ανάπτυξη και λιγότερες ανισότητες».

«Είμαι σίγουρος ότι μαζί με χιλιάδες άλλους πολίτες, με τους οποίους έχουμε κοινές αγωνίες θα συναντηθούμε μέχρι τις εθνικές εκλογές και θα φέρουμε τη νίκη και την πολιτική αλλαγή», επεσήμανε.

Από την πλευρά του, ο Νικόλας Φαραντούρης υπογράμμισε ότι είναι μεγάλη του χαρά «που σήμερα βρισκόμαστε εδώ για να ενώσουμε δυνάμεις για την πολιτική αλλαγή» και πρόσθεσε: «Το ΠΑΣΟΚ είναι ο μόνος συγκροτημένος πολιτικός φορέας που μπορεί να εγγυηθεί εγχώρια πολιτική αλλαγή. Χρειάζεται η μέγιστη πολιτική συσπείρωση. Κάθε πολίτης πρέπει να συσπειρωθεί γύρω από τη ραχοκοκαλιά της Δημοκρατικής Παράταξης. Το ΠΑΣΟΚ είναι το μόνο κόμμα που μπορεί να εγγυηθεί τις μεταρρυθμίσεις που έχει ανάγκη η χώρα, τη στιβαρή παρουσία στην Ευρώπη και διεθνώς, τη θωράκιση της κοινωνικής δικαιοσύνης. Αυτή η πανστρατιά πρέπει να μας εμπνεύσει όλους και κάθε δημοκρατικός πολίτης να αναλάβει τις ευθύνες του».
